SS7/Sigtran Testing

Linkbit products allow to run SS7 simulation and load generation tests over E1/T1, STM-1/OC-3 and Ethernet. Signaling over narrow band TDM 64/56 Kbps, ATM HSL, and SCTP/IP is supported. Sigtran M2UA, M2PA, M3UA, SUA adaptation transport layers are supported.

Software Capabilities

Linkbit Simulation Studio (LSS) IDE provide a complete toolbox for functional and conformance testing of SSP, STP, SCP nodes and voice trunks of an TDM SS7 signaling network. Sigtran simulation allows to test SG and ASP elements of the converged SS7 network. Simulation of user traffic (TCAP/SCCP, ISUP) over M2PA, M3UA, M2PA, SUA allows generate real SS7 traffic over established links. Multi-ASP simulation and SCTP multi-homing is supported.

Instant import, point-and-click edit and replay of Linkbit and Pcap trace logs provides a unique capability for testing of SS7/Sigtran. LSS seamless integration of well known scripting engines (Perl, Pythin, PHP, Jscript, VBasic) delivers the capability to build tests of any complexity.
